The University of Cape Coast(UCC) Student Portal is an online platform created for students of the institution to perform academic actions with ease.
The portal is divided into various sections like; Personal Details, Registration of courses, Statement of results, Payment of fees, Exam Timetable and also frequent updates on new developments of the institution.
Fresh students will receive their login details through an SMS after payment of fees where they are required to immediately select a room number and provide other essential information.

Visitwww.portal.ucc.edu.ghto access the portal. A change of password is allowed after login.For the first year, courses will be automatically chosen for you so there will be no need for any registration.
You are only to print out the courses for endorsement from the various departments when you get to the campus. To check other sections on the platform, just tap on them from the left side of the homepage.

Fresh students are, however, cautioned to be alert on any unauthorized persons who ask for money to set up a portal account for them. It is free and should be done by oneself or any trusted person.
How to Logininto UCC Student Portal
Follow these easy steps:
- Step 1:Open your Internet Browser e.g, Firefox, Chome, Internet Explorer, etc
- Step 2:Go to the University of Cape Coast Online Login page via this link www.portal.ucc.edu.gh
- Step 3:Select Login
- Step 4.Log in using your Student ID and password. The login screen appears upon successful login.

Ucc portal forgotten password reset

If you have forgotten your portal password, dont panic, just click on thepassword reset linkand reset your password using either of the two options below.
SMS Option
- Enter your student registration number and telephone number
- Click on submit
- You will receive a reset code on your phone
- Input your reset code received, for verification
- After your reset code is verified, your password will be reset and you can log in.
E-mail Option
- Enter your student registration number and email address
- Click submit
- Sign in to your email account you entered earlier.
- Check your inbox/spam/junk mail for email received from Student Portal
- Reset your password
- Finally, you will be redirected to the student portal login page (portal.ucc.edu.gh)

Aside the Student portal, the university of cape coast also have E-learning site which was used during the covid pandemic to continue teaching and learning activities.

1.5 Searching for your Course on the UCC E-learning portal
You can search for your course on the homepage of the platform by the following steps: 1. Enter the name or title or code of your course.
2. Click on Go after entering the name or title or code of your course.
NB: Your course should pop up. If this fails, then it means your course has not yet been created on the Moodle Platform.
How to Reset Password on the UCC e-learning Site
To reset your password, submit your username or your email address below.

If we can find you in the database, an email will be sent to your email address, with instructions how to get access again.
